The last fifty years have not been kind to Myanmar.
Despite a rich history, proud culture and abundant resources,
the Southeast Asian country became mired in a cycle of political instability,
economic stagnation, and isolation from many in the international community.

This, however, is quickly being relegated to the history books.
Myanmar is now in the midst of an exciting renais- sance,
as the Southeast Asian nation is embarking on historic
political, social, democratic and economic reforms.

With Myanmar once again opening up to the world,
the country presents an excellent opportunity for investment.
